CAMPUS MINISTRY

At WLC, students, faculty and staff are united by a Christian faith that’s evident in all aspects of campus life. Daily chapel services are full of the campus family growing closer to God. Wednesday Vespers evening prayer services are an opportunity to quietly reflect on the week and is a favorite activity among students. In addition to Bible studies, retreats, and events, the WLC Campus Ministry team also coordinates mission and service trips in the U.S. and internationally.

Please consider a gift to support WLC students who are developing as a Christian servant leaders and will take their compassion out into the world to the people who need it most. Mission Trips: $8,000

One of the many ways students can serve others is through mission trips. These experiences provide students with occasions for tremendous spiritual growth. The trips build upon students' experiences in theology classes, Chapel, and Bible studies to move outside of their comfort zones, live their faith, and develop as Christians and servant leaders. Upcoming trips in 2024 include: outreach to the Latter Day Saints communities in Utah or Arizona, making connections in the most un-churched urban community in the U.S. in Seattle, Washington, and partnering with St. Peter Lutheran Church to serve internationally in Alberta, Canada.

Small Group Bible Studies: $800

Students’ faith and spiritual life is nurtured at WLC through small group Bible studies. These opportunities, both on campus and off-campus at a local custard shop, help students grow in their faith alongside those who share their devotion to God.
