ATHLETICS
Nearly half of WLC students compete in at least one of our 19 NCAA Division III sports and our Esports program. Student-athletes are encouraged to strive for excellence on the field and in the classes by supportive coaches and teammates who care about their success. Warriors student-athletes know that sports are about so much more than what happens in a single game or meet. It’s about finding out how far you can go — as an individual and a team — and pushing to get there. It’s about finding joy in breaking a PR, or seeing a teammate’s hard work pay off. It’s about aligning your body, mind, and spirit and trusting in yourself.
Your donation demonstrates a commitment to excellence in WLC Athletics and supports student-athletes who compete out of a true love of their sport. Along the way, Warriors develop friendships and skills that benefit them throughout their lives.

Intramurals: $500 per sport
For those students who do not play on the Warriors NCAA DIII athletic teams, they can still participate in team sports at WLC. Intramurals get pretty competitive! Throughout the year, teams are formed and students compete in sports like basketball, volleyball, and soccer.
Homecoming: $2,295
In addition to the student spirit events noted in the Student Life section, there are costs associated with playing the Homecoming games. These costs include: officials, press box workers, the internet broadcast, and field crew.
Night of the Victors: $1,800
WLC celebrates the athletics year annual with an awards program called Night of the Victors. Warriors student-athletes and coaches gather on campus where players, teams, and coaches are honored for their athletic and academic achievements, as well as several awards are handed out based on voting by the student-athletes and coaching staff.
Winterfest Games: $2,310
In addition to the Winterfest Dance noted in the Student Life section, there are costs associated with playing the Homecoming games. These costs include: officials, press box workers, the internet broadcast, and field crew.
Student-Athlete Graduation Stoles: $2,000
Being a WLC student-athlete is a great accomplishment! To recognize this achievement, green stoles are given to graduates to wear during their commencement ceremony to distinguish them as Warriors student-athletes.
